Halloween Surprise!

This is a picture of our good friend, Rob, sitting on our porch on Halloween night trying to scare the trick or treaters. We called Jim & Rhonda to come down & Jim had the tar scared out of him by Rob. Jim about went through the wall of the house trying to get away. How funny!

This is Donna. She's also a good friend of mine. She works & lives in Taylorville. We used to work together every day when I worked for the insurance company. Donna has such a big heart & would do anything for anybody.

My Mom

Here's a pic of my mom. This pic was taken at her surprise birthday party. She lives in Trowbridge, IL. She is in the process of selling her house & hoping to move to Pana. My Great Aunt Helen will also be moving with her as mom helps to take care of her. I can hardly wait for my mom to move here. I wish we could have been living in the same town 20 years ago. We've missed doing so much together with Mark working such long, odd hours & Mom living over that way. Oh well, now we can be together & take care of each other!

Mark's parents

Here is a picture of Mark's parents. They are both from the Pana/ Rosamond area. They have been married for 54 years. Virgil is retired from Beyers Construction in Pana. He now works part time at Grandpa's Hardware & spends time drinking coffee with his friends at the Rosebud. Shirley is a homemaker & likes working on her plastic canvas making neat things & spending time with her friends playing cards.

Here's Whitney with her bright orange cast. Come on, we had to get orange for October/Halloween. She can't wait to get this off. Only 2 more days until we see the dr. again!

Andy & Kathy

This is my brother, Andy & his wife, Kathy. They live in Windsor, IL. They are trying to sell their house in Windsor so they can move to Mattoon. Andy works over towards Mattoon & both their kids live in Mattoon so they could be closer to their family. Their kids are Gerold & Andrea. Gerold has proposed to his fiance & they are planning a marriage. Andrea is married to Chris Morrisson.

Scott & Mary

This is my brother, Scott & his wife, Mary. They live in Gays, IL. They both are employed at Donnelly's in Mattoon, IL. Scott has 2 boys, David & Chris. Mary has 3 kids, Ben, Zach, & Sarah. Scott & Mary enjoy working in their yard, spending time wtih family & they love camping & traveling.

Whitney & Mike

This is our daughter, Whitney & her boyfriend, Mike. Whitney is a senior in high school this year & will graduate in May. It's sooo hard to believe that we will now have both kids out of high school. How I wish we could turn the clock back, but life must go on. Whitney plans on attending college after school, but she's confused as to what to do & where to go. She's throwing the idea of nursing, physical therapy & something to do with kids. Hopefully, she'll be deciding soon so she'll know what she's doing. Whitney's boyfriend is a really nice guy. But...Mike's friend sure needs to learn how to drive, ha!!! Whitney ended up with a broken arm from a golf cart accident. They were going a little fast down a hill & they went to turn & the golf cart turned over causing Whitney's arm to be under the golf cart & then a fractured arm/wrist. She'll be so glad to get the cast off. She goes back on Thursday so I'll keep you updated on it. I'm also going to see if I can get a pic of her with her cast on so I can post it also.

Colton & Ashli

This is our son, Colton & his girlfriend, Ashli. They have been dating for almost two years now. This pic was taken a few weeks back in Chicago. Ashli is attending college in Chicago for culinary Arts. Colton is attending college @ LLC in Mattoon to become a paramedic. He is employed by Pana/Decatur Ambulance Service. He loves his work. He was just voted on for a fireman in Pana. He loves being on the fire department & is hoping when he finishes college that he can find a full time fire department in a big city.

We were very fortunate to be able to purchase a new home. It is something we've always wanted & we were able to fulfill our dream.
